International flavour at Shergroup

Legal services company Shergroup played host to their Indian colleagues recently who spent a week learning about the UK operation.

Eight members of Shergroup India, who work across the miles with their English colleagues and provide back-office support to companies in the UK wanting to chase bad debts, paid a visit to the firm's Braintree headquarters recently.

Neeru Kainth, Assistant Manager of Admin Operations in India, says: "For some of us it was the first time we have stepped out of India so it really is an incredibly exciting visit."

"Technology allows us to speak to our British colleagues very easily from India and we can see a lot of them by webcam, but it is always good to meet people face-to-face."

Shergroup is now one of the leading providers of outsourced business services, from its operations in the UK and India, specialising in enforcement, security, legal and IT solutions.

Claire Sandbrook, Chief Executive of Shergroup, says: "The team in India was set up in 2006 and has gone from strength to strength. In two years, they have collected £11 million in debt for Shergroup clients."

"They are a vital part of our operations and visits like this help build morale and give the Indian team a much better understanding of the operation here."
