Hustler Hollywood had failed to pay money owed to one of its suppliers, resulting in a High Court writ.

Items including sex toys, lingerie, and erotica were sold at auction, with 25,000 netted this week from the sale of the items from the Birmingham store which, at 6,000 square feet, is described as the largest sex product outlet in the UK. A few more items will be sold at John Pye Auctions in Nottingham on January 24th.

A further 10,000 was raised before Christmas when items from the London store were sold to one bidder, and a second sale of the London items will be held at Plaistow Auctions in Hainault on a date to be confirmed.
