The Shergroup team has won an Essex Business Excellence
Award in the Innovation category which recognises Shergroup’s
outstanding achievements in designing and delivering its
online systems.
Building on the success of the team’s ICM Award
for Innovation earlier this year, Shergroup’s development
of its innovative online case management system, known
as “SHERPA”, has won the attention of judges
in Shergroup’s home county of Essex.
The system that Shergroup has developed allows clients
to track the progress of the enforcement of their court
judgment in real time. This makes the SHERPA system unique
in the world of civil court enforcement and has been enough
for the company to secure a finalist’s place in
the Essex Business Excellence Awards’ Innovation
category.
Featured in this picture is Shergroup’s CEO, Claire
Sandbrook, along with some of her TEAM, Graeme Scrivener,
Graham Smith, Tracey Wright, Vincent Rautenbach, and Chris
Badger. Claire, along with David Asker, Chief Technical
Officer, and Alan Smith, Chief Operations Officer, who
are all authorized by the Lord Chancellor to carry out
the enforcement of High Court Writs in England and Wales,
worked solidly for a year to design and develop the functionality
that makes the SHERPA system a unique piece of software
engineering in the market today.
Shergroup Chief Executive, Claire Sandbrook and her team
picked up the Award at a gala dinner at Braxted Park near
Witham this month.
The finalist’s place in the Innovation category
reflects Shergroup’s ongoing enhancement of this
expert system. Using their experience and the programming
and development skills of their in-house software design
team in India, SHERPA has become a pivotal business resource
to the entire Group. The offshore team under the direction
of David as CTO is constantly working to improve service
delivery through the SHERPA system.
Claire Sandbrook said: “This is a fantastic accolade
for our TEAM from our home county, as it reflects our
continuing commitment to develop innovative services including
SHERPA that meet the needs of our clients. They want to
know where they are in the process of recovering their
money and SHERPA delivers that information to their desktop
without having to chase for a report.
“At a time when people are looking for the best
solutions to their debt recovery problems, we are confident
we are offering a service that goes way beyond anything
in the market.”
“I see our achievement in making it into the finals
as recognition for all the hard work undertaken by the
whole team at Shergroup, both in Braintree and in India.”
