EDUCATION AND TRAINING HIGH ON SHERFORCE AGENDA

Claire Sandbrook, as CEO of Shergroup and Chair of the High Court Enforcement Officers’ Association, has called on other industry professionals to support
improvements to education and training in order to raise standards across the enforcement industry.
Speaking at the HCEOA Stakeholders’ Annual Luncheon in London this autumn, Claire said: “There is a need for a credible education pathway so
that Enforcement Officers are sufficiently skilful, knowledgeable and qualified. “It just will not do any more to ‘get by’. Our members need to know the
law and the rules, in terms of both Civil Procedure Rules and Insolvency Rules. They need to be communicators and they need
to be confident in front- and back-office procedures.”
