Shergroup is renowned for being innovative and leading the way in the
Business Process Outsourcing arena.
In 2004, the company established the National Information Centre for Enforcement,
NICEsheriffs as the first register of all High Court judgments. Shergroup
sold the system of NICESheriffs to Registry Trust Limited in 2005 as the
keeper of judgment of information across the UK (see link to Registry
Trust and Trust Online).
The same year, Shercar was launched to allow ownership of debtors’
vehicles to be checked using the DVLA database. It has been now been developed
into an online service for court officials and bailiffs and won the Institute
of Credit Management’s prestigious Initiative Award in 2008.
With the success of Sherbond, the newest division introduced to Shergroup
is Shercurity, which provides post-eviction security to prevent the return
of squatters, travellers, eco warriors and protestors to land and property
owned by our clients. The company continues to be innovative in other
areas, investing extensively in specially written software and exclusive
data management tools to enable creditors to establish what their chances
are of recouping money owed, using the ‘Sherpa Front Loader’
propensity model.
And one of Chief Executive Claire Sandbrook’s proudest initiatives
was the launch in 2007 of Sherbet, the company’s charity which helps
families affected by enforcement action.
